Loving the mother, the soil, and the people—for the welfare of the country and the nation, for peace in this world and salvation in the hereafter—those noble individuals who, for attaining virtue, donate or endow their hard-earned properties through charitable services either directly or indirectly by means of Waqf deeds or verbally, the proper implementation of their noble intentions is the primary and fundamental objective of the Bangladesh Waqf Estate Welfare Trust.
The countr's highest Islamic religious charitable institutions, the Waqf estates, are now under threat. There is no accurate or complete documentary information of the endowed properties in the concerned offices. Due to the lack of proper supervision by the authorities, lack of experience, indifference of Waqf estate property managers, and the involvement of some greedy land officials—either by collusion or mistake—most of the Waqf-endowed properties have been illegally recorded in the names of various individuals or organizations under false identities. As a result, 97% of Waqf properties are under the illegal occupation of fraudulent syndicates. In the 52 years since independence, all institutions of the country have developed, except the religious charitable institutions, the Waqf estates, which are gradually nearing destruction.
With the aim of developing traditional Islamic Waqf institutions and preserving national interest, the Bangladesh Waqf Estate Welfare Trust seeks to correct the incorrect records of Waqf properties, evict illegal occupants, and regain control over these vast Waqf properties. Through proper management, it aims to alleviate poverty, eliminate unemployment, and build a beggar-free, self-reliant, skilled workforce by establishing technical madrasas and orphanages, schools, colleges, universities, and osques. It seeks to provide modern, science-based, time-appropriate education to the helpless, extremely poor, orphaned, homeless, street children, and unemployed youth of the country, creating a killed workforce through training, and building an educated nation through quality education, scholarship programs, competitions, and award distributions to encourage academic excellence.

To contribute to national development, it plans to establish science-based international-standard research laboratories for new discoveries and technological innovations.
It aims to provide medical treatment for the country's distressed, helpless, and general sick population. For the continuous improvement of healthcare services, it will build modern, international-standard charitable hospitals, nursing colleges, medical colleges, and medical universities in various districts of the country.
To reduce unemployment, it will create new employment opportunities through the establishment of modern, production-oriented industries and factories. It will produce adulteration-free products, and after meeting domestic demand, export them abroad to earn foreign currency and strengthen the country's economic infrastructure.
It will implement and carry out various productive projects such as fruit orchards, vegetable farming, cultivation of crops like rice and wheat, fish farming, and livestock rearing.
It will undertake and implement shelter projects on non-agricultural Waqf land or government/semi-government/private/government khas land, with appropriate authority's permission, for the rehabilitation of landless people, along with various other charitable services.
The implementation of the above-mentioned programs of the Bangladesh Waqf Estate Welfare Trust is its primary objective and fundamental goal.
